From Monday 7 July 2025 (updated 14:25 7 July 2025)
New pumps and pool covers have been installed, but additional works on the outdoor showers and pool surround continue. Some areas may be cordoned off from time to time.
Peak season half-hour session breaks have been introduced to help manage the crowds. Plan your swim carefully to avoid these closures (15:00–15:30 and 17:00–17:30 on weekdays and 11:00–11:30 and 13:30–14:00 at weekends).
Everyone must leave the lido area during the half-hour session breaks.
The lido will be closed from 13:30 on Sunday 13 July for a community event. We’ve asked the centre why Saturday’s 14:00 Swim For All is not yet available to book.
We’ve attempted to summarize the timetable for the week of 7 July 2025. Blue boxes show available lido swimming slots and their maximum bookable capacity. Times are session start times.
Capacity is still reduced for some sessions — we’re asking for it to be increased. Previously missing weekday family swims have been added in under “Lido Family Zone And Sun” and extended to 90 min. Limited lane swimming runs alongside these sessions (“Lido Lane Swim & Sun Only”).
Booking is via Haringey’s Park Road Leisure Centre website (select Book activity) or Active Wellbeing apps — available for both Apple and Android phones.
For lane swimming, look for “Lido Lane Swim”, “Lido Lane Swim & Sun Only”, and “Lido Swim For All” sessions — during the latter lane swimming is available alongside family swims. Confusingly, Lido Swim For All sessions are only visible on the app by selecting “Lido Family Swim”.
Family swimming is available at the weekends during two, two-hour Lido Swim For All slots starting at 11:30 and 14:00. A 90-minute family swim (“Lido Family Zone And Sun”) is available every weekday at 15:30.
