Lido opening times

Staffing problems at the centre have severely limited opening this summer, with hours falling well short of the promised full daylight hours. Family swims were almost non-existent during the June and July heatwaves.

But with new staff recruited, an improved summer holiday timetable began on Tuesday 21 July with additional weekday family swims and a later lane swim until 18:30. Evening lane swims are very occasionally added at late notice (only a few hours beforehand). The centre still has no plans to open the lido at 06:30 on weekday mornings, as it used to.

Bookings

You must be booked in to swim at the lido.

The centre strongly recommends booking in advance via Haringey’s Park Road Leisure Centre website (select Book activity) or Active Wellbeing apps — available for both Apple and Android phones.

 Alternatively, you can book in at reception as you arrive but note the lido is often sold out days in advance during hot weather and you may be turned away.
